Eucharistic Adoration is the Adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist.  In a deeper sense, Adoration involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". 

Here at Saint Vincent de Paul School, our Principal leads students in First Friday Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.  The way that the children are led in prayer during this time is modeled after the “Adoration with Children” program developed by Father Antoine Thomas of the Brothers of St. John.  Father Antoine is a native of France and now resides at the St. Joseph’s Priory near Peoria, IL.  You can read more about the “Adoration with Children” program at
