* Archdiocesan Guidelines to Qualify for Affiliated Tuition:

• To qualify for the affiliated Catholic tuition rate (K-8):

• The family has been registered at their Parish for at least six (6) months.

• The family verifiably contributes, according to their means, on a regular basis to the financial support of their Parish.

• The family attends weekend Mass regularly and is involved in the activities, organizations or programs at their Parish.

In-parish status is reviewed periodically.  This subsidy is made possible because of your weekly offertory contributions.  If you would like to automate your weekly offertory contribution, please follow the instructions given on this page: Online Giving

** For parishioners of Churches without a school, Affiliated Catholic status will be confirmed with your home Church.

Tuition Payment

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School uses a tuition management system called FACTS Tuition Payment Management Program. Tuition is paid via an automatic withdrawal from a banking or checking account. It may be paid in one lump sum annually in July, semi-annually in July and January or monthly from July through April. Variation to these dates may be necessary for students beginning after the start of the school year. Once a student is accepted, parents may connect to the online Tuition Enrollment by clicking on To Register with FACTS on this website’s ADMISSIONS tab. There is no enrollment fee involved in the process.

ACE Scholarships: The Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE) is a Denver-based 501(c)3 non-profit established in 2000 to provide low-income families with the power and freedom of genuine educational choice through privately funded K-12 scholarships, college-prep and education advocacy.  ACE provides scholarships to families who qualify for the federal free and reduced lunch program. Preference is shown to families who are new to SVdP - either transferring from public school or beginning Kindergarten.  This program offers a maximum of $2,000 per year for grades K-8.  Some ACE Scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years.  Visit the webpage at http://acescholarships.org/home.

Schmitz Family Foundation
:  This family run foundation provides tuition assistance for select Catholic Schools to middle income families who wish to provide a Catholic education for their children.  Up to $2,000 per family may be awarded per academic year.  Scholarship recipients must maintain an average to above average academic record as determined by the student's teachers.  Applications for the Schmitz Family Foundation can be found at the school office.

Saint Vincent de Paul Tuition Assistance Program:  The mission of the Saint Vincent de Paul Parish Tuition Assistance Program is to assist current and prospective students in gaining a Catholic education by providing the most comprehensive financial aid assistance possible given our own financial abilities at any given time.  St. Vincent de Paul School is committed to confidentiality throughout this process.

Receiving Financial Assistance – New Information This Year

Tuition assistance is offered after determining that the resources of a family are insufficient to meet the student's educational needs. St. Vincent de Paul School is committed to confidentiality throughout this process.

Steps to apply for financial assistance:

If you are interested in applying for ACE, Schmitz and/or St. Vincent DePaul Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) awards, please refer to the income guidelines on the school website svdpk8.com > Admissions tab. For applications and/or more information, please call or e-mail Suzanne Meyer in the school office at 303-777-3812, ext. 102 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We encourage you to pick up the applications at your earliest convenience.

Information regarding online submission for your financial assessment will be available by the end of March. Further instruction will be provided at that time.

Note: SVdP TAP assistance is a program that is managed and awarded in-house. You are encouraged to apply if you have serious concerns over your ability to pay full tuition but don't meet the criteria published on the website for financial assistance.

You may also contact Sister Dominic, O.P. to discuss these programs at 303-777-3812 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The above chart lists general income guidelines for all programs, however, because we manage the SVdP TAP program in-house, you are encouraged to apply if you have serious concerns over your ability to pay full tuition but don't meet these published criteria exactly.  If your family is in need of short-term emergency assistance, please contact Sister Dominic, O.P. as this fund may be able to assist in those situations.

If you are interested in making a contribution to the St. Vincent de Paul Tuition Assistance Fund and giving the gift of a Catholic education to a family in need, please contact Sister Dominic, O.P. at 303-777-3812 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
