May 2018 publication of two national studies showing the statistically significant benefits of Catholic education. The Catholic school environment is more conducive to sustained learning and high achievement, and the students are better formed in terms of self-discipline and maturity. Holy Hour through the Summer
Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00pm come to Holy Hour and spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Childcare is available in the Garden room beginning at 3:30 until 5:00pm. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 4:00pm, and often a priest is available during the hour for confessions. Infuse your summer vacation with spiritual growth and dedicated times of prayer in a quiet church.
Rosary and Adoration Tuesday Mornings
Tuesday mornings also offers a morning time of prayer. Following the 8:00am Mass is adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and community rosary. For many of us, it is a bike ride away and the time will give us peace and order to our day and our summers. Invite your children to attend if they are able to walk or bike to the church.
Movement Madness
Movement Madness is offering camp each day at St. Vincent de Paul School from 9:00am-2:00pm. (Some weeks excluded, see flyer for all dates). This is sponsored through third-party “Movement Madness.” Several of our SVDP families have participated in the camps in the past and appreciated the positive environment that Ms. Jenny Cargile creates, along with the healthy, active and interactive games she facilitates.
