Back to School Coffee – Monday, August 27th after drop off
Welcome back Parents and Special Friends! The first day of packing up those backpacks and getting the kids to school is right around the corner. Everyone definitely needs a caffeine boost after that busy first morning. Be sure to stop by the Garden Room after drop off on Monday, August 27 to enjoy a Cup of Joe from Ink! Coffee, and a breakfast snack. This is a great time to catch up with other parents you haven’t seen all summer, and start this year off right. (from Home & School)
Grocery Cards
It’s your time and opportunity to participate! SVDP has extended their partnership with King Soopers and Safeway to continue our FUNdraising efforts. Lets come together as a community to help support our children.
Simply purchase a grocery card already loaded with $2.50 available at back-to-school night and watch our funds quickly grow. Cards can be reloaded prior to check out and can be used to purchase groceries or gas. Five percent (5%) of purchases go back to SVDP School, which makes this an easy opportunity to continue raising funds ALL year long. If a family spends $150/month on groceries/gas, this will earn SVDP $90 per family for the year. If we had 100% participation from each family, SVDP would earn over $20,000 just for doing what we already do – grocery shopping and filling our tank up with gas. Please consider purchasing your grocery card at Back to School Nights, or stop by the front office! (from Home & School)
Spirit Gear
Show your support! We will be selling limited Spirit Gear for the family at Back-to-School
Night (September 5th and 6th) so the family can be sporting Crusader colors around town. We will also make available an online Spirit Gear campaign so you will have the opportunity to purchase the products in the color and size of your choice. We all support our favorite local teams; let’s show our support for our kids and favorite school! (from Home & School)
Oktoberfest (September 15)
Join the parish/school/neighborhood community for this year’s Oktoberfest. Activities for children include photo booths, cake walks, and more. Delicious food and drink. Use the Volunteer Sign-up Genius to give some time to make this event a great success. If you are intersted in entering the pie contest, please use the following form to register: Pie Contest Form
Jamba Juice (K-8) and Fun Food (7-8)
Three cheers for Kate Ennis and Julie Buckley who have agreed to take a lead volunteer role in ensuring Fun Food continues this year. The delivery date for students will change to Fridays. An ordering link will come out via email when it is ready.
Jamba Juice will begin when we have one or more parent volunteers able to take a similar role.
