Don’t forget to join us next week at the Wish Shopping Party next Tuesday, April 16th at 6:30pm! We know many of you still need a hat, fascinator etc!! What a great excuse to do a little shopping, find your derby hat and socialize with other parents! Plus, Wish will donate a portion of the proceeds back to SVdP!
Raffle tickets will be on sale starting next Friday, April 12th at the front office. Don’t miss your chance at a gorgeous 14CT white gold bracelet with 52 round brilliant diamonds, a $6,000 value! Raffle tickets are $100, and there are only 100!! The winner will be drawn the night of the gala.

7th Grade Service Project// Diaper Drive – Deadline: April 18th at Noon
The 7th Grade students have begun their annual Service Project – a Diaper Drive benefitting the Gabriel Houses! This year, the 7th Grade has set a very lofty goal of collecting 61,000 diapers for mothers and families (and most especially babies!) in need throughout the Archdiocese of Denver. We have collected 10,500 diapers so far towards this goal. Click here for all the dates and details!
Spring BBQ – May 3rd – Volunteers Needed

Parent Satisfaction Survey on Program Effectiveness
As part of our ongoing improvement plan, we will release a survey tailored to parents, to teachers, and to students on program effectiveness of the school. Please look for this in the next couple of weeks. The data will be used by the School Advisory Council, under the direction of Sister Dominic, and others involved in mapping out the strategic plan and action items for the next several years.
Class of 2015 Alumni Reunion
ATTENTION CLASS OF 2015! It’s hard to believe that four years have passed since you graduated from SVdP School. We hope that you have enjoyed and embraced your high school years. Before you head off for the summer and college in the fall, we invite you to come and catch up with some of your SVdP classmates and teachers. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided. End of Year Recycling Event- Lead Volunteer Needed
Never know what to do with those bags of broken crayons, emptied markers and used notebooks that come home at the end of the year? Let’s recycle them! H&S and SVdP Serves have identified some opportunities in which our community could recycle our school supplies at the end of the year. However, we are looking for 1-2 parent volunteers who would be willing to lead this school project, likely occurring the last week of school. Pilgrim Mary Statue in your home
In this busy time of life, what better way to add some peace then bringing the school’s Pilgrim Mary Statues home for a week to be with you. Our school has three statues that can visit your home, to pray with you. Sign up slots are assigned each Monday. Check out is anytime after 12 pm on the Monday assigned. All School Mass // Wed of Holy Week
The all school Mass moves to Wednesday during Holy Week and will begin at 8:10. Please join us in final preparation for the Easter Triduum.
Fridays in Lent//Stations of the Cross and Fish Fry (Fish Fry follows on April 12)
The Knights of Columbus would like to invite you to their annual Fish Fry at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. The last one will be held on April 12 following the 6:00pm Stations of the Cross. Adults $15 and Seniors/Children $8.
April 15th//After School Concessions Treat
The 7th Grade Students will selling concessions after school on Monday, April 15th to support the Gabriel House diaper drive. Please bring small bills/cash for purchases to support this great cause. May 6//Vocations Talk for Parents
Parents are invited to join Fr. Ryan O’Neill for a discussion of the basics of discernment and how to talk to children about their vocations. All parents are welcome, but please note that this event is for parents only (no childcare will be available). The event is free admission. Click here for more information.
