Extended Care Statements – Payments Due
Currently, there is a total outstanding balance in excess of $5,000 for Extended Care services provided for enrolled students’ before and after school care. Our fiscal year for the school ends June 30. In order to close, we are asking families who used the Extended Care Program during the year to pay their balances by June 15 in order to record the income during the current fiscal year. Families should have received a final statement. If you are unsure of your amount due, please e-mail joyce@saintvincents.org.
Summer Lawn Care around SVdP Campus – upcoming bulletin announcement for SVDP Parish
Starting on the second week of June, we will be overseeding, fertilizing and chemically treating
the lawns around the property. We are kindly asking that people are careful keeping off
the grass. It will be unsafe for their children or pets on the grass during this time. We will be
placing lawn stakes with bright plastic rope as a deterrent, along with other yard markings
soon. We respectfully ask you to stay on the sidewalks during this time.
Please note that throughout the summer we will be spraying glyphosate around trees, in the
mulch, rock beds, and sometimes on sidewalk cracks. We use a bright blue dye to indicate
where we have sprayed. Sidewalks present no harm if one casually steps on a crack that has
been sprayed, however, adults, children and pets – need to stay away from tree rings and beds
that have been sprayed. Yellow warning signs will also be placed at sidewalk entryways each time we spray, as
required by law. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the parish office at 303.744.6119.
FACTS News
A sincere thank you to our school families who are so faithful to their FACTS tuition commitment. We are blessed to have a process which operates smoothly, due in great part to your dedication and consistency. We are anticipating 100% remittance of tuition for the current school year.
Families will be receiving an e-mail from FACTS late in June confirming enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year as well as your payment plan. If you have any changes to your e-mail, telephone, address or banking information, you may make the changes directly via factsmgt.com, or if you prefer, please e-mail: joyce@saintvincents.org with your changes.
Finally, please set up your e-mail accounts to avoid having any FACTS Management e-mails misdirected to your spam folders. This is particularly important as a reminder for the first withdrawals which begin in July for the majority of our families. If you do not receive an enrollment e-mail by July 1, please contact Joyce at the e-mail shown above.
SVDP School is transitioning to a new Student Information System (SIS) this summer. Yes, that is two changes in three years – we apologize. The new SIS is a familiar name and company – FACTS. Their product has been excellent in the area of tuition management, and the SIS integrates with this. We believe this will be practically seamless for parents as you already have logins for the system. It is more comprehensive and device-responsive than our current Option C SIS has been. It allows for more areas of online pay and the long-awaited online re-enrollment and registration. These are all significant improvements over our current SIS. More information will be available at the beginning of the school year.
Fall Sports Season
The 2019 SVDP Cross County Team registration is now open. Runners (boys and girls) entering into 6, 7, and 8 grades (Fall) are eligible. There is a 2-part process for registration.
SVDP TEAM REGISTRATION: In order to register for the SVDP XC Team, athletes must register through the school system here: Registration Form Online
The Team will compete in 8 meets, including the Colorado Middle School Cross Country Championship. Cross Country has 48 spaces on the Team. We open this sport up to all 6, 7, 8 grade runners. If there are spaces available after the registration deadline of June 7, 2019, we will let rising 5th grade students/parents know the opportunity to join the cross country team as a 5th grader. If there are only a few spaces, we will plan a qualifying race to fill as many spots as are open to 5th graders.
CSAL REGISTRATION: This is a League registration only and does not register your athlete with the SVDP Team (click link above for Team registration). SVDP coaches do not have any visibility into this registration or access to the list of registrants. If you previously registered with CSAL, you must complete the SVDP Team registration above to register athletes for the school team.
