Gala 2020 – please help us secure Disney Tickets for the Gala
Disney, Service Project & Gala: We need your help!
Our All-School service projects can help SVDP earn up to 20 park hopper passes to Disney that we can include in our 2020 gala. We need parents to visit the site below and simply confirm that your child (and you, if you volunteered) participated in the service project. It takes 30 seconds and Disney and Points of Light/All for Good, their charitable partner, will not use your email address for other purposes. They must verify that SVDP executed a legitimate service project.

Thank you so much for your time to help secure this potentially massive donation for our gala and of course for everyone’s efforts to make our service day a success.
Donation forms for the Gala are in the main office and everything is available online, as well:

7th Grade Musical Cardboard and Large Boxes Needed
Mrs. Thomason and Mrs. Smeltz are in need of large pieces of cardboard to create props and scenery for the 7th grade musical. If you have a very large box — such as for a large appliance or furniture box — please save it and contact Mrs. Thomason or Mrs. Smeltz to see if it could be used! Cardboard would be needed by early January. Thank you so much!
SVDP Serves is grateful for YOU!
The students of SVDP have truly embraced the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul the past few weeks. On the Monday before Thanksgiving, the 8th graders sorted, packed and delivered over 75 boxes of food to Denver families experiencing economic hardship. Special thanks to all the families who brought in boxes and cans of food and our Thanksgiving Food Drive Coordinators, Katie McCloskey and Jenae Neiman!!
On the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, SVDP students decorated 40 Christmas trees and delivered them to seniors still living independently, made 70 blessing bags and rosaries for Christ in the City, cleaned the church in preparation for the Advent Season, wrapped surprise snowmen balls for the Anchor Center for the Blind and created 40 centerpieces for Father Woody’s annual Christmas dinner for the homeless. All of this could not be accomplished without the hard work of the SVDP Serves Committee and our day of event volunteers. Thank you all for your hard work!!
