Special Instructions for Supply Drop Off
Because parents will not be able to help carry school supplies into the classrooms this year, Home &School is organizing bins for each grade in which you can drop all those supplies that your child cannot carry themselves in their backpack. This will be perfect for those items such as wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc….
Bin Instructions – Please have supplies labeled with child’s name and teacher’s name in a bag that can be easily dropped into a bin
Drop your supplies in the bin and we will have them delivered to your child’s classroom
Bin Locations – Bins for grades K-8th will be labeled and located outside of entrance gate during the first week of school from Monday to Wednesday
The bin for Preschool/Montessori (K) will be located near the front entrance during the first week from Tuesday to Friday.

Zoom “Open Mic” Q&A – each homeroom teacher is available from 6:30pm- 7:30pm for your questions and answers. Please read required tuition contract addendum.
A required addendum for all archdiocesan schools’ tuition contracts has been issued by the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Schools. It outlines terms and conditions in the event of school closures and online instruction due to COVID. The addendum was released in late May to be included with contracts for the upcoming school year. These need to be completed promptly. Would you kindly use this here to acknowledge and sign the addendum? Save and email the document back to info@svdpk8.com. at your earliest convenience. Thank you to the families that have completed the addendum. We appreciate it!

Athletics
Note the following CSAL updates for Athletics:
- Coed Volleyball has been cancelled
- CSAL will offer 1 Cross Country meet this year, Saturday, October 10th at Mullen High School. This Cross Country meet is only available to 8th grade students.
- Flag Football will play as scheduled.
- Golf Camp is scheduled for August 21st and is available to students in grades 4-8. Registration is available at www.csalden.org.
Basketball planning will begin in September. Local guidelines will be followed and protocols will be developed and communicated before the start of the season.
Please note the following calendar change for coming school year 2020-2021.
October 5, 6, 7 will be regular school days
October 8, 9 will be parent teacher conference days
The Google parent calendar is marked correctly
If you have already scheduled a vacation during this time, thinking that it would be a fall break, please do let your child’s teacher know at the beginning of the year. When the calendar was first set, the teachers/staff were going to use three professional development days this week, but we have cancelled (or delayed) those plans. Those three days will need to be inserted into the calendar as non student days, but we think it is wise to see if they could be used strategically should restrictions re-emerge.
