eLearning Dates and Information
SVDP Grades K-8 will be entirely online for eLearning the week following Thanksgiving Break and Christmas Break. This allows everyone to travel to be with family and friends during these special holidays, and have sufficient quarantine time upon return so that we do not compromise the excellent start we’ve had to the school year! November 30 – December 4, 2020 as well as January 4 – 8, 2021, the school building will be closed and classes will be conducted online.

2020 Fall Raffle
A huge T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U to Gina Sawyer who has chaired the fall raffle for FOUR YEARS. She has refined this to a science – helping to identify the incentives for participation, and tracking all the sales. THANK YOU, Gina! We are looking for a NEW fall raffle chair beginning next school year. If you would like to learn more about this role, please contact Gina or Sr. Dominic.
Thank YOU to all of our families who participated in the Fall Raffle. It was the most successful raffle thus far, raising over $34,200 with 82% of the families participating and 74% selling all of their tickets. Thank you for helping seed the Gala funds.
Classes who enjoyed an extra student-selected party because every family in that homeroom participated:
Mrs. Boian, Both 1st Grade, Both 3rd Grade, Both 4th Grade, Miss DeLisle, Miss Marianna Brown (6th grade homeroom). Many individual students won a free dress day because families returned all tickets sold by the deadline.

BRRRR!! With the arrival of the cooler temps, it’s time to make sure that your family has winter clothes that fit…AND time to donate the gently used coats, jackets, sweaters, long underwear, gloves, mittens, hats, boots, and shoes that could be better used by someone else! Please take the time to bag and label your donations by size: 0-5, 6-12, adult female, and adult male.
