SVDP Serves Thanksgiving Food Drive – Nov. 2nd – 19th – Donations needed
Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will take place from Monday, November 2nd – Thursday, November 19th. Each classroom will be asked to bring assigned items to help fill the Thanksgiving Food Basket for local families who are in need. Click here for the list. Our 8th graders will be collecting, packing, and delivering the Thanksgiving Food Baskets as part of their SVDP Serves service project. Do you have Halloween Candy Leftover?
If anyone has Halloween candy that they would like to donate, please bring it for the Thanksgiving Food drive with your donations. We are trying to get enough donations to make 100 Thanksgiving Boxes for families in the community who are in need. In “potluck” style, each class is responsible for a specific item.

Coming Soon: Online re-enrollment
We’ve been forced to catch up with the rest of the high tech world and will be moving to an online platform for re-enrollment. HOWEVER, in advance, we beg your patience. Because this is the first year of an online enrollment platform, a LOT of information will need to be input on the family side. You will see this in January, after Christmas break. The online FACTS platform will gather all of the same information that you needed to submit each year at re-registration, and it will likely treat you as a “new family” with regard to the amount of information that you would need to input. It will make your life better going forward, but it will be an effort this year!
Altar Server Training – Cancelled
With the rising rates of Covid and stricter guidelines being put in place by the city, we feel it is prudent not to take any chances or put anyone at possible risk. The Parish recognizes their responsibility in keeping the students safe and honoring all of the hard work that the school is doing along those lines. Because of these things, the altar server training, scheduled for November 16th, will need to be rescheduled. Father Hilton looks very forward to sharing his experiences and expectations with these young ministers at a future date. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns to Beth Riviere at Beth@saintvincents.org. Thank you for your understanding.
