Milk for the School Year
Please complete this form if your child wants milk with their lunch for this school year. Milk will be purchased through Meadow Gold once for the entire 2021-2022 school year. Orders must be submitted by the end of the business day on September 24th. Late orders will not be accepted.
Please do not send checks or cash to the school office. Watch the Friday Forecast for information. We will use Incidental Billing in FACTS to handle payments.

If you have a wheel barrel, shovel or power washer, these are all items needed. If not, bring gloves and any other tools you want to help beautify the grounds. SVDP students are wonderful helpers, and are welcome to participate if they are old enough to weed.
Uniform Sale – August 21 from 10am-12pm
Dennis Uniforms is working on their orders but they may be running behind in the shipping. So, we invite you to come to the summer used uniform sale will happen on Saturday, August 21 from 10:00am-12:00pm in the school lobby. This is a chance to purchase pre-worn, reduced-priced uniform items to be ready for the school year! We have lots of uniforms in all sizes and hope many will come and take advantage of the sale.
Back to School Coffee
Our Home and School is hosting the back to school coffee from 7:30am-9:00am on the first day of school, Monday, August 23. Come and meet other parents on the patio and sidewalk outside the adoration chapel.

WANTED: Crusaders for a Rafflin’ Good Time – Fall Raffle tickets will be coming home in the first week of school. Look for an envelope from your youngest child. Ticket sales are due back to the school September 17th.
Sports and After School Activities
Cornhole
CSAL is excited to introduce a new sport for the 2021-2022 School Year: Cornhole! CSAL will host their inaugural Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, October 23rd at St. Thomas More Catholic School (7071 E Otero Ave, Englewood, CO 80112). The cost to participate is $20 per player which includes the cost of a commemorative t-shirt. Registration opens Sunday, August 1st and closes Friday, October 8th. The tournament is available to boys and girls in 3rd through 8th Grades. Advanced registration is required through the CSAL website. Go to www.csalden.org, select “Register Now”, then click “CSAL 2021 Cornhole Tournament”. Click here for all the details on this new sport.
Cross Country, Flag Football and Basketball
Below is information and dates that are important to our athletics this coming fall/winter. Our first cross country CSAL meet is 9/14. Flag football season begins on 9/18 and I would love to start practices on Tuesday 9/7 or earlier if we have teams and coaches set. Remember I will need a coach and up to 10 players for each team. The fee for cross country is $100.00, we have seen an increase in fees over theyears for the events outside of CSAL. Flag Football will be $85.00 per student. I will be hosting a mandatory Parent meeting for all Basketball and Volleyball players on Monday 9/20 (Only one parent must attend). This is a very important meeting to attend. We have kids who did not play basketball last year and we have girls who have not played Volleyball for the past 2 years. I look forward to seeing all of you on 9/20. Below are changes to the late registration process by the league.
Late registration opens the September 3rd. Families will be subject to a $15 Late Fee charged and collect by CSAL regardless if the school decides roster the player.

Robotics
Our school is planning to participate in an after-school robotics program, but we need your help! Do you have a few hours per week to mentor a
small group of middle school students? No robotics background required! The commitment is just 8 weeks long and will provide our students exposure to this amazing STEM activity. We have partnered with BEST Robotics who provides this program at NO COST to our school or children.
