Archdiocesan Advent Retreat
During this 2021 season of Advent, Archbishop Aquila has invited the entire Archdiocese to go on retreat. Each Sunday in Advent, at every parish, the story of salvation history will be preached — created, captured, rescued, and our response. This week, Archdiocesan priests preached on the theme “Rescued” proclaiming the truth of our being saved, that God comes for us in the midst of our need, our suffering, our sin. The study guide is attached here, and you can watch Fr. Hilton’s homilies from the last two weeks here. This week there is also a written reflection written by Fr. Sam Morehead of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. There is so much to receive from our Church right now, and so many resources available, so we encourage you take advantage of these for yourself and your family!
