Billing for registration and instructional fees 2022-2023
Thank you to all our families who have completed their re-enrollment paperwork and may have also enrolled a new sibling. We are preparing to process the registration and instructional fees for the upcoming school year. The fees will be billed to your family via the FACTS system as an Incidental Fee. You will receive an email from FACTS that will advise you of the amount due and a date that is set for withdrawal of your fees. If you need to request an adjustment to the due date, please email jhaberkorn@svdpk8.com. If you have a question about the amount charged, please contact Joyce at the same email address. We hope to send all emails no later than February 20th. The due date specified will be at least 10 business days following the date of your email.
The Registration Fee is a per family fee:
$200 for a family with one student
$300 for a family with 2 or more students
The Instructional Fee is a per student fee:
$100 per student in grades K-5 (no fee for preschool students)
$200 per student in grades 6-8
Tuition Assistance
We will be providing information regarding tuition assistance within the next two weeks. The SVdP website will be updated with new income guidelines and instructions for applying for assistance. Watch future Friday Forecasts for details. In order to apply, you will need to have completed your 2021 tax return. Your adjusted gross income and a copy of your return will be required. If parents file separate Federal tax returns, both 1040 forms will need to be submitted.
The Speaker Series continues
Our next Speaker Series will be Tuesday, 2/15 at 6:30 in the gym. This event is open to the public so please invite your friends! Chasing Childhood is a feature length documentary that explores how free play and independence have all but disappeared from kids’ lives, supplanted by relentless perfectionism and record high anxiety and depression. What’s lost goes well beyond our idyllic conceptions of childhood past. Free play, unsupervised by adults, is critical for developing essential life skills: grit, independence, and resourcefulness. Many young adults appear more accomplished on paper, but by the time they get to college they are struggling, and lacking the emotional tools to be appropriately independent.
Watch the trailer here, and please register HERE if you would like to attend! Contact Caroline Iannucci with any questions.

*Christ in the City is a Catholic program dedicated both to forming young adults and the greater community to be lifelong missionaries and to knowing, loving and serving the poor. The missionaries walk the same routes and, over time, build friendships with the homeless. In this way, Christ in the City is addressing poverty at its core by showing the homeless that they are seen, known, and loved.

Looking for Chefs for “Mondays of Meals” (SVdP’s Famous Live Auction Item!)
Do you enjoy cooking and have one great meal you can deliver one Monday next year? We need your help! 30 Mondays of Meals is in its 5th year. It’s a group of St. Vincent’s home cooks who each sign up to bring the winning family one meal (winners get 30 Mondays of taking the night off from cooking). We ask that the meal be complete (not just a lasagne thrown on the porch), with salad, sides, dessert, and some extras – maybe wine, a cocktail, breakfast muffins for the next day, your favorite cookbook – and a recipe from the meal you deliver.
In the last 4 years the item has made our school over $30,000! It’s a small effort that goes a LONG way. Keeping our cooks fresh helps, so if you are new and want to learn more, reach out to Kate Crisham at mcgreevy@gmail.com or 202-907-4875.

Community Opportunities
Supporting those affected by the Marshall fires
There are many ways we can be supporting our neighbors in Boulder county after the terrible fires last week. Please see this article from Denver7 for specific ways to help out, as well this invitation from our Archbishop to donate to a special relief fund for families in need.
