Father Hilton’s Sunday Sermon Series
Father Hilton is in the middle of a four-week series of Sunday sermons on what it means to transition from a Christendom Age of the institutional Church to an apostolic age, where Christians learn to pass on the faith to their families in new and effective ways. Edukit School Supplies
Believe it or not it’s time to order your school supplies for next year!! Our school participates in the Edukit school supply program every year and, besides the convenience of having your child’s school supplies waiting for them in their classroom on the first day of school, it’s also a great fundraiser for our school. So, go ahead and make your summer plans and enjoy your time with family and friends knowing that this is one back to school “to do” that you can already cross off your list. No rushing around town from store to store trying to find everything on the supply lists. Edukits are all boxed up and will be waiting on your child’s desk for them — it’s that easy! Please consider ordering your school supplies through Edukits!

SVdP Sandwich Program
The SVdP parish is thrilled to restart the SVdP Sandwich Program to help feed the hungry in our community. Once a month after Sunday Mass, parishioners gather in the cafeteria to make over 400 sandwiches. The sandwiches are delivered to the Cathedral, where their staff pass them out to those in need. Before we can relaunch the program though, we are looking for a few families to rotate the duties of setup/breakdown on the days of the Sandwich Program. The specific days/Mass times are still being worked through, so if you’re interested and have a Mass preference, please let us know. The duties are pretty simple. On the day you are assigned, you should expect to arrive 30 minutes before Mass to set up tables and food prep stations. After Mass, you will help make sandwiches with the other parishioners. Then after the program concludes, you’ll help with breakdown and cleanup. If you’re interested in learning more about the program, please email Marisa Baldassano at m_baldassano@yahoo.com. The program ran for many years before COVID and parishioners found doing service work together very rewarding. We hope you will too!
