A note from Sister Marie Isaac, OP:
Good afternoon! It is a grace and a blessing to be able to celebrate School Mass together on most Thursdays throughout the year. Yesterday we celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of Mary – i.e. The Blessed Mother’s birthday. We’re reminded that Mary was preserved from original sin and its effects in order to be the perfect receptacle for the Son of God, Jesus Christ. She had a special relationship with her Son Jesus and always pointed everyone attention to Him. Each one of us is offered that same relationship with Jesus. All we need to do is say “Yes” and cooperate with God’s will in our lives. Mary, mother of Jesus, pray for us.
Our 8th graders are anticipating their field trip next week to Annunciation Heights with excitement. This time of retreat is specially set aside for their faith formation, team-building and personal growth. Please keep them all in your prayers. Thank you to our teachers and parents who are chaperoning this year!
I want to emphasize the importance of your presence at the Master Planning meetings that are being held over the next two weeks. The dates/times are included again below for your convenience.
Have a blessed evening!
