A note from Sister Marie Isaac, OP:
Thank you for your patience and care this week as we navigated the snow day, late start and residual snow/ice. A big thank you to Mr. Feltes, Mr. DeHaven and Mr. Zarlengo for coming in early and working really hard to make our walkways and playgrounds safe for our students and staff.
Car Line Safety Reminders
Thank you for keeping us all safe!!! All cars are expected to drive STRAIGHT THROUGH WITH NO TURNS. Please be attentive to the following:
- the carlines are constantly moving; no sitting or waiting by the curb, even on cold days
- pull as far forward as the line allows you, not stopping just at the entrance gate
- do not cut around another car
- drivers should remain in their cars
We’re counting down to Catholic Schools Week 2023 beginning with our Family Mass on Sunday, January 29 at 9:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul. I recently read a thought provoking quote that makes the following claim:
“Christianity is the most shockingly momentous view of what it means to be human that has ever been seriously believed and pursued…to be a human is to be involved in an extraordinary adventure.” (From Christendom to Apostolic Mission)
Our Catholic schools are privileged place where we can offer an encounter with Jesus Christ and instruction to provoke the wonder of our students of God’s truth, goodness and beauty in the His creation. Thank you for helping to strengthen and support our school.
Planning for our 2023 Gala is in full motion ~ Thank you to Kathleen Davia and Dee Kenny who are leading the charge! Make sure to check out the News from the Dugout listed below.
Have a wonderful weekend! I’m praying for you and your families.
