A note from Sister Marie Isaac, OP
It will be good to be back to school next week! I pray your families had some good family time during Spring break. We have just a few short weeks before Easter. This Sunday is the 4th Sunday of Lent – Laetare Sunday. Laetare means “Rejoice!”. We know the joyful celebration of Easter is approaching even though we still have to pass through the more somber days Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
A few points of interest this week: Our 5th grade students have the opportunity to attend Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception downtown and serve as the choir. Dinger, the Rockies’ mascot, will be visiting our younger students on Thursday to get them excited for our parents attending the upcoming Play Ball! Gala at Coors Field. Our 2nd grade students are excitedly preparing for their 1st Confession this Saturday. Overall, we’re focusing on doing our best in Trimester 3. Thank you for your support!
Know of my prayers for you and your family.

Lenten Diaper Drive
The 7th graders are preparing for the annual Lenten Diaper Drive which continues throughout the season of Lent. The students will be promoting the diaper drive during car-line at drop-off and pick-up during Lent. There will be collection bins near the classrooms and in the front lobby where your children can drop-off their diaper donations. Our goal this year is to collect and donate over 22,000 diapers, which will help support all ministries within Catholic Charities with their diaper needs, including Marisol Family, Samaritan House Shelter, and Early Childhood Education. They are most in need of sizes 3, 4, and 5, but all sizes, including pull-ups, adults, and diaper wipes, will be accepted. Thank you for your continued generosity for those most in need in our community.
