Did you know?
- Today is the Feast of St. Nicholas. We know that we was very well known for giving gifts! Do you know what his greatest gift was? Jesus Christ. St. Nicholas was one of the bishops involved in the Council of Nicaea, which declared that Jesus was true God and true man! This clear teaching has been passed down to the present day. Thank you St. Nicholas!

School Initiatives in Progress
Renewal of Strategic Planning – Parent Survey – Coming Soon!! – Look out for an email with a link
Overview – One of the initiatives underway at SVdP this year is to create an updated Strategic Plan for our school. A lot of work was done in 2018-2019 and interrupted by COVID. At a high level, the goal of the Strategic Plan is to identify and prioritize needed improvements to our school to allocate resources for the next 1-3 years. Our current renovation project takes care of a great deal of capital needs, but program and building needs continue. With the help of our community, we will identify both long-term improvements projects, as well as several smaller, short-term projects, to focus on for the next 1-3 years as we finish up our Capital Campaign and Renovation Project. SVdP has implemented strategic plans in the past and we would like to keep our eyes forward focused to be good stewards of our beautiful school and community.
We had more than a 50% response rate last time this survey went out! Thanks for taking the time to take this survey when it is sent to you on December 6.
Foundation for the Future Capital Campaign: Help Us Cross the Finish Line!
Dear SVdP Parents,
Thank you for your generosity and support throughout our Foundation for the Future capital campaign! Your contributions have made a significant impact on our school, and we are so close to achieving our goal.
To complete all the projects we’ve set out to accomplish, we still need to raise $400,000 for the school. With your help, we can cross the finish line and ensure that our school continues to thrive for generations to come.
Here’s what your support has already made possible during last summer’s construction:
- A redesigned main office.
- An updated principal’s office and enhanced front-door security.
- A new private space for children to rest when they’re feeling sick.
- New carpet and ceiling upgrades in the main entrance.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to begin the next phase of renovations in June 2025, which will include:
- Remodeling classrooms for a modern, engaging learning environment.
- Enhancing the teachers’ lounge to support our dedicated faculty.
- Updating bathrooms for improved functionality and comfort.
- Replacing all windows to maximize air circulation and temperature efficiency.
Your continued generosity will bring these plans to life and make a lasting difference in our school community. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
Gratefully,
Fr. Hilton & Sr. Marie Isaac, OP – Pastor & Principal
