Exciting plans are underway to revitalize St. Vincent de Paul School! Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:
Classrooms:
- Fresh new carpets
- Updated windows and paint colors
- Modern cabinetry
- New shades and light fixtures
Teachers’ Lounge:
- A warm, inviting space with new carpet and cabinetry
- Freshly painted walls
- Updated fixtures to create a welcoming environment for our hardworking teachers
These upgrades will enhance the learning environment for our students and provide a refreshed retreat for our teachers. But we can’t do it without you!

We are also excited to launch a new Winter Raffle! Dreaming of a winter mountain escape? Here’s your chance! We are selling only 100 raffle tickets at $100 each for a chance to win 4 nights in a stunning Vail Village condo, winter or spring weekend of your choice (no blackouts!!). Four bedroom condo in the heart of Vail Village – walking distance to Gondola One, restaurants, shopping and all the activities vail has to offer. Main floor convenience with a creekside patio and private hot tub. One dedicated indoor garage space with an overflow spot outside. Condo sleeps 10-12! Lastly, we need your support! Every year we launch a fun and successful live auction at the Gala and it is thanks to the incredible donations and connections of this community that we have such exciting packages to auction! If your family has something fun to donate (tickets, a vacation home, a talent or service, or simply a financial donation to be used to enhance a package!) The SVdP Serves committee meets in the Dining Room of the Parish Office on the first Friday of the month from 8-9 am. The upcoming meeting dates: Our next meeting is February 7 at 8AM. All are welcome!
We just had an amazing SVdP Serves Service Day just before Thanksgiving! Thank you to all our volunteers!
If you and your family are looking for ways to serve within greater Denver, here are a few options for you:
- Christ in the City: The city of Denver serves as the proud home of Christ in the City headquarters. Missionaries live and serve together. They are committed to using a relational and Christ-centered approach to homeless ministry.
- Your family can Volunteer for Lunch in the Park. Lunch in the Park is held every Wednesday & 2nd Saturday of the month at noon. For location and parking details, please SIGN UP. Training is required for all first-time volunteers.
- Community Ministries is a food pantry and more! Their mission is to meet the basic needs of individuals who are experiencing economic hardships and related problems. See their Volunteer Event Calendar for opportunities to serve.
- Catholic Charities: As the charitable arm of the Archdiocese of Denver, Catholic Charities shelters, feeds, houses, educates, counsels, and provides emergency assistance and critical services to tens of thousands of our Denver neighbors. Learn more about current volunteer opportunities here.
January SVdP Dine Out at Chipotle:
Our next school Dine Out will take place this coming Wednesday, January 8th, from 5-9 p.m. at Chipotle on Yale & Colorado (2760 S. Colorado Blvd Unit M, Denver, CO 80222) ONLINE CODE: HV2WXER (*for pick up only, not delivery). DINE IN: MUST SHOW THIS FLIER on your phone or the hard copy when ordering BEFORE PAYING. 25% of sales go back to SVdP!
SVdP Skate Night Skate City Littleton:
Our next school skate night will take place Wednesday, January 29th from 5-7pm at Skate City in Littleton. Admission is $7/person and skate rentals are $5/person. School Staff receive complimentary admission and rentals, AND count towards our 50 skater minimum! More details to come.
Save The Date-SVdP Day at Sky Zone on Friday, February 28!
There is no school that day and this will be a fun way to burn some extra energy. Additional details to follow.
