Re-registration packets with admissions applications will be live on the Registration Tab at the Parent Portal Friday afternoon 1/10/2020.
Monday, 1/13/2020 at 7:30 am: SVDP School will begin accepting admissions applications for returning students and siblings of current students. Must be in hard copy form and packet must be complete with registration form, registration fees, tuition contract, parish affiliation form, birth and baptismal certificates (new siblings), current immunization records.
Friday, 1/24/2020 at 3:30pm: SVDP closes the Order of Priority Seating for returning families and new siblings of current families. Beginning with Open House on Tuesday, January 28th, families new to the school will begin to be awarded seats.

Survey Expertise Needed
If you have working knowledge of surveys (a bit more sophisticated than Survey Monkey), or could connect us with someone who has this knowledge, we would be grateful for some help. We are trying to identify a platform that will enable us to send the right kind of survey out for our strategic plan process. Please contact Sister Dominic if you can help. Thank you
Open House 2020

– Join your children for lunch in the cafeteria and feel free to surprise them with something special to eat – an SVDP tradition! Here are lunches by grade:

SAVE THE DATE: Grandparents Day was just added to the school calendar for Thursday, May 7th which is the May Crowing Mass on the Thursday before Confirmation and Communion. A formal invitation will go out in the next few months.
8th Grade Basketball Night – Friday, January 10th
This Friday night we will be hosting our annual 8th grade night to celebrate our 8th graders last home game. Below are the game times:
5pm boys
6pm girls
7pm boys
8pm girls
It is a great night of celebration for our 8th graders and for all of students attending SVDP. Students of all ages usually gather on the stage and cheer for the teams. After the 8pm game we serve pizza for all athletes and spectators. If you have time to come to a game or two it will be a great time for your family!
Volleyball
January 15 – volleyball registration opens
This year, registrations will be handled entirely through the CSAL website: www.csalden.org. Fees will be requested through FACTS Incidental Billing as we have done with other sports seasons this year. Registration must be complete ˘prior to attending the tryouts on the dates listed below:

Denver NUGGETS – Several Options
Celebration Life March this Saturday, January 11, 2020
Join thousands of people from all over the Rocky Mountain region to proclaim that EVERY LIFE IS A GIFT! Dynamic speakers and musical performances are part of the celebration, with emcee David Bereit, co-founder of 40 Days for Life. Speakers include Archbishop Aquila, Ramono Trevino, Michael Moubarek, and Maddie Haas.
Prior to the rally at 1pm, enjoy music by the worship team from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Back by popular demand will be the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary Choir, a mariachi band, Aztec dancers and Mexican folk dancers. Masses to be held at 11am at Holy Ghost (English) and St. Joseph’s downtown (Spanish) as well as an 11:30 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (English).
