Count down to the 2024 GALA AND FUNDRAISER – May 4, 2023
- Wondering how our Gala proceeds have been used in the past? See HERE for a summary of the most recent ones.
- Funds raised in 2023 for school windows and teacher lounge have been earmarked for the Summer 2025 Renovations
- Tuition alone does not cover our expenses each year. We rely on the Gala to cover the gap and fund special projects over and above our regular expenses like the Front Office Renovation and the Teacher Endowment.

Important Library Information
All library books are DUE on MAY 3rd. Any outstanding books will be assessed a fine and charged through the FACTS system. Any questions, please contact Ms. Berry in the library.
St. Vincent de Paul School is enrolling students for Traditional PS4 Preschool: THREE spots available – students must be 4 years old by October 1. Five day full and half day options available. Traditional preschool offers a developmentally age-appropriate curriculum that is teacher-led, play-based social-emotional learning in a positive and productive classroom environment. Scholarships are available through the Denver Preschool Program.

Marie Dimelow has faithfully led the Junior Great Books Program here at St. Vincent de Paul for many years and is ready to pass it on to another dedicated volunteer. If we don’t find a willing volunteer before the end of the year, we will no longer offer this program. Anyone who is interested could reach Marie Dimelow (pommetts@yahoo.fr)

MISSION Raffle – It’s time for the Gala Raffle!
Win a summer weekend getaway from June 21st through the 24th at Winter Park luxury home. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo accommodates a group of 6-8 with access to hot tub, outdoor fire pit, chef’s kitchen. Home sits on Pole Creek golf course and two rounds of golf (2 foursomes) are included in the prize. Only 100 tickets will be sold for $100. Buy more than one to increase your odds to win. Tickets are now on sale through this Google Form. Tickets are payable by check or credit card to Mrs. Cave at the school front desk. Be sure to purchase your ticket prior to the gala as tickets cannot be sold at the event. Don’t miss out! Winners will be announced at the gala before the Live Auction! You need not be present to win.
Mission Briefing: Operation Auction Infiltration
Agent, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to remain undetected while still participating in the silent auction and supporting our cause. On May 4th, you won’t be able to join us physically, but fear not, for we have devised a plan to ensure your involvement.
To access the auction remotely, sign up for a complimentary auction-only ticket with this link. This will grant you covert entry into the bidding arena without arousing suspicion.In addition to bidding on silent auction items, you have the opportunity to contribute to our paddle raiser and purchase class parties, all from the shadows. Your contributions will be instrumental in the success of our mission!

Home and School
SVDP Spring Luau – Friday, May 17th from 4-7pm
Please join your SVdP community for a fun evening of BBQ, community, music and games on Friday, May 17th from 4-7pm. Home & School will provide hot dogs and chips for all. Please bring your own sides and drinks! Hawaiian/Luau attire is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best outfit! For more details see the attached invite. Summer Camp
Afternoon Art Camp with Mrs. Thomason. M-F, June 3-7, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 pm. Open to ages 8-13. Space is limited to 18 students per session. Students will learn a variety of art techniques during art camp and have completed artworks to bring home at the end of camp. Click here to register.
