2024 Mission Impossible Gala

As promised, here is a financial wrap up. Thank you for your generosity and support. Our gala income helps us balance our operating budget, fund special projects and plan for the future. The highlights are listed below and a full summary can be viewed HERE.

Gala Raised: $699,000, including $435,200 Paddle Raiser
2024 Paddle Raiser Projects:
1) Front Office Renovation – $150,000 – scheduled to be completed this summer pending permits.
2) Contribution to Teacher Endowment – $284,200 – continue to build to fund teacher bonuses, ongoing formation and education
In 2021, SVDP began allocating 15% of the Gala net revenue apart from the Paddle Raiser to tuition assistance. The 2024 amount that will be $39,600.

Last Call – Lost & Found
We have an accumulation of unmarked coats, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. in our Lost & Found. Please stop by the front office to claim your items. Anything left on May 31 will be donated to charity.
We held Student Leadership Team Speeches and Elections this week
The student leadership team leads the school in fostering virtue, school spirit and service.
We have EGGS!!
Stop by the front office with cash. Just $8.00 a dozen for fresh eggs from our chickens. The money goes right back into feeding them. Thank you for your support!

All library books are now OVERDUE. Any outstanding books will be assessed a fine and charged through the FACTS system. Any questions, please contact Ms. Berry in the library.

St. Vincent de Paul School is enrolling students for Traditional PS4 Preschool: THREE spots available – students must be 4 years old by October 1. Five day full and half day options available. Traditional preschool offers a developmentally age-appropriate curriculum that is teacher-led, play-based social-emotional learning in a positive and productive classroom environment. Scholarships are available through the Denver Preschool Program.
Scholarship/Tuition Assistance Awards
Families who applied for ACE/Schmitz and/or Seeds of Hope scholarships should receive award letters from them in May or early June. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you receive an ACE award letter, you need to respond to ACE to accept the scholarship.

Marie Dimelow is happy to announce that she will be working with Maria Villamizar to offer this program. Maria is the mother of Lucas and Maya, current 5th and 3rd graders.

SVDP Spring Luau – Friday, May 17th from 4-7pm
Please join your SVdP community for a fun evening of BBQ, community, music and games on Friday, May 17th from 4-7pm. Home & School will provide hot dogs and chips for all. Please bring your own sides and drinks! Hawaiian/Luau attire is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best outfit! For more details see the attached invite. Summer Camp
Afternoon Art Camp with Mrs. Thomason. M-F, June 3-7, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 pm. Open to ages 8-13. Space is limited to 18 students per session. Students will learn a variety of art techniques during art camp and have completed artworks to bring home at the end of camp. Click here to register.

One of our SVdP graduates was ordained a priest last weekend. He’ll be joining us for School Mass next week, May 23 at 8:10 am. Father Hall was featured in a Archdiocesan video recently – HERE
